What do you need to know about the employee view?

An employee account has been created for you, and you have received an email to activate your account?

In the article How can I activate my account? you will learn how to activate your account, set a password, and log in.

  1. After setting up your account and logging in, you will be taken to the dashboard of your digital employee file.

    Notice

    Depending on the access rights assigned to you, the view may vary.

    If you have read-only access, you will see the Home section.

    If you have read and write access you will see the Home section as well as the Profile section and will be able to edit your data. More information on this can be found in section 5 of this article.

     

    In the Home section, you have an overview of:

    - Your employee master data (name, company, position and employee ID)

    - Your assigned employee-related documents.

     

    Payroll-relevant documents can be downloaded using the Download button located to the right of the respective file.

    You will be notified by email whenever a new employee-related document is uploaded to your profile (either system-generated or uploaded manually).

  2. Using the search and filter function in the top right corner, you can filter the document list or search for specific document titles.

  3. Using the Profile button in the top right corner, you can:

    - Change your language settings

    - View your account

    - Access our Help Center

    - Log out

  4. If you want to change your password, you can do so via "Account".

  5. If you have read and write permissions, you will see the Profile section in addition to the Home section and can enter or edit your personal data.

    When you log in for the first time, a guided onboarding assistant is available to help you enter your personal details. This allows you to easily submit your employee master data to your employer.

  6. You will be guided through a multi-step process to enter:

    - Personal details

    - Contact details

    - Bank details

    -Tax information

    - Social security information

     

    You will be guided through each step until all mandatory fields are completed. Once the process is finished, the banner will disappear.

    You can save your progress at any time and continue later.

  7. Once all data has been entered, it will be displayed in your profile.

Notice

The employee view will be further customized and expanded in the future, providing additional functionality. We will be happy to inform you about these updates in the release notes.
